Bill was born and grew up in Holyoke, MA and later attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, prior to entering in the United States Navy in 1965.
He later began his career of 27 years working for the Marriott Corporation in Washington, D.C. before retiring to his home in Warrensburg. Most recently, Bill was an engineer on the Upper Hudson River Railroad for the past eight years.
In addition, he served as President of the Northeast Hot Air RV'ers for the Adirondack Balloon Festival for five years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed "wintering" with his wife in their RV where they volunteered in several Florida state parks. Lately, 'Grampy' loved spending time with his three cherished grandsons here in the Adirondacks.

Cameron of Holyoke, MA; one brother, Alan K. Cameron and wife, Phyllis of Warrensburg; and three grandsons, Ryan, Alexander, and Andrew.
